Dibarco Building Corporation’s foundation of excellence begins with strong leadership and decades of experience. In 1985, after years of working alongside her husband and partner, Diana Couillard joined a local home building company. She started in clerical work and quickly advanced to superintendent and Vice President of the company. After earning her State Certified Residential License, she became the license holder for the business.

In 1988, Diana founded Dibarco Building Corporation, a company dedicated to custom home building and quality craftsmanship. The name “Dibarco” is derived from her own name, Diana Barker Couillard. As the company grew in the custom residential sector, her husband, James Couillard, a State Certified General Contractor, joined as a partner, helping expand Dibarco into commercial construction as well.

Today, Dibarco Building Corporation proudly continues as a woman-owned company built on a legacy of expertise, integrity, and hands-on leadership.

Our Vice President, Cynthia F. Couillard, has been with Dibarco since its beginning in 1988. Starting in the office and advancing to Office Manager, superintendent, and Vice President, she now holds a Certified Building Contractor License. Cindy’s extensive experience and licensing further strengthen the company’s ability to serve clients with a full range of construction services.
